On April 27th the SOpharmacy concept, which introduced a completely new approach to servicing the health needs of Bulgaria patients celebrates its 7th anniversary. On this date in 2015 the first outlet under the brand opened the doors in the central part of Plovdiv.
Today SOpharmacy is the second largest pharmacy chain in the country with over 200 outlets in 46 cities. In 2021 the brand won the most important award “Love pharmacy brand of Bulgarian patients” in the ranking of My love marks and position itself as preferred pharmacy in the largest cities Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.
Each element of the SOpharmacy concept is created with emotion, inspiration and care and follows the best world’s practices. Thus, the British Design Association (DBA) ranked the brand among companies such as Intel, Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Financial Times.
Since day one, understanding the needs of Bulgarian patients, SOpharmacy has been developing a wide portfolio of over 11,000 products, including both world-renowned brands and niches. In 2017, SOpharmacy also presented products under its own brand, and in just 7 years their number reached nearly 100. All products are manufactured to the best manufacture standards and are distinguished by their quality, and in 2021 three of them won first place in the prestigious international competition “Salute to Excellence Awards”, organized by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA).
SOpharmacy mission is to be a trusted healthcare partner of Bulgarian patients. The ambition of the brand is to convey and offer the benefits of the concept online, developing own omni-channel. Thus, since 2016 SOpharmacy is developing its own online pharmacy sopharmacy.bg, which offers the innovative “Click and Collect” service. The digital strategy and the investments in the highest technological solutions allowed the first electronic prescription of Bulgaria to be served in the SOpharmacy outlet.
But what makes SOpharmacy the preferred pharmacy is the individual approach and health advice provided by a pharmacist. Because the pharmacists of the brand are trusted health partners who have the expertise to consult on various health conditions.
